My Standard Home Inspection:

is a visual examination along with the use of state of the art tools, to assess the homes major systems and components, along with my professional opinion as to their condition, in accordance with the Wisconsin Standards of Practice . An average size home should take 21/2 to 31/2 hrs to inspect, more depending on size, age and condition. View a detailed list of the items of What's Inspected during a typical home inspection.

I understand that time is limited:

I provide a professional report via email, complete with digital color photos, diagrams and detailed descriptions identifying any significant issues or concerns I find, normally within 24 hrs of completing the onsite inspection. Here is a Sample of the Report in PDF that you will receive.

Radon Gas Testing/Measurements:
is optional at a reduced rate with your Standard Home Inspection. I also use a continuous radon monitor for instant results, so no waiting for samples and lab results through the mail. Every home should be tested regardless if there is a mitigation system or not. Radon checklist.
Inspection fees:
Hiring an experienced and certified inspector with the right tools and knowledge to use them correctly is paramount . Fee's are normally based on size, age and number of systems and are inexpensive in comparison to a median priced single family home (close to 1/4 of 1%) in the South Central, WI area. Dont risk the most expensive investment youll most likely ever make by hiring a cheap inspector. A cheap inspector is just that "cheap", and could actually cost you more. While I am not the cheapest inspector I am not the most expensive either. Not all inspectors or inspections are the same. I do one inspection a day so I can give you the time and attention needed for a proper inspection.
